Nmm not downloading skyrim mods

Download the mods you want manually (again, be sure you're getting them from the Skyrim Special Edition Nexus, not the regular Skyrim). Extract the mods (7zip recommended). Unable to download from Nexus mods website. this issue has nothing to do with a mod manager (NMM, Mod organiser, etc), it is an issue on the website itself.
