WASAPI is still available for Windows 10. I use JRiver to a Rega DAC-r and use ASIO because of the Rega Driver but can switch to WASAPI if I like. Current Audacity releases do not directly support WASAPI - MME and Windows Direct Sound are emulated on top of WASAPi (this makes Windows Direct Sound have more latency than it did under XP).
